Announcing the results of our Be a Community Resource campaign!
Dear CFR community,
On behalf of the team at CFR and the communities we serve, I want to thank you for joining us on our first ever grassroots peer-to-peer fundraising campaign. Within just one week of launching the campaign, we raised over 50% of our fundraising goal. In the last few weeks of the campaign, we exceeded our campaign goal by over $10,000! Our median gift was $100 across 45 supporters.
Today marks the closure of our Be a Community Resource campaign. I am excited to share that we have raised over $30,000! This was an all hands effort and could not have been possible without the support of community members like you.
Thanks to your support, in 2021 CFR will:
Increase availability and usage of the consumer-friendly, low-cost Focus Card
Move into the second phase of our COVID-19 Emergency Response Program
Ensure VITA participants take advantage of direct deposit for their tax refunds and savings
Support MoneyGoals users on their journey towards financial stability
Deepen our efforts within the guaranteed basic income space
Continue to work towards our shared vision of economic justice
