Debt and past-due bills negatively impact the financial lives of many low- and moderate-income Black/African Americans. Yet many community members feel hesitancy around debt consolidation products. This tension inspired a project focused on supporting Black/African American community members with debt and past-due bills.
As part of that project, Community Financial Resources had the opportunity to provide consulting support to Prosperity Now as they compiled an innovation brief for financial coaching programs. Read the full brief, written by Stephanie Landry and Spectra Myers here:
