Debt and past-due bills negatively impact the financial lives of many low- and moderate-income Black/African Americans. Yet many community members feel hesitancy around debt consolidation products. This tension inspired a project focused on supporting Black/African American community members with debt and past-due bills.As part of that project, Community Financial Resources had the opportunity to provide consulting support to Prosperity Now as they compiled an innovation brief for financial coaching programs.
